100 Things About Me

  1. I'm a Leo.
  2. I was born in the year of the Tiger.
  3. My initials are KAT.
  4. I'm a dog person.
  5. I'm happily married, more happy than I thought would be possible.
  6. If my condo was on fire, and I only have time to grab three things, I would be too hysterical to think clearly enough to actually grab three things.
  7. I cook dinner at least 5 nights a week.
  8. I own more than 30 cookbooks.
  9. I try a new recipe every week.
  10. Sometimes I'm a vegan, sometimes I'm a vegetarian. Sometimes I eat fish.
  11. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA).
  12. Having RA has made me more compassionate.
  13. I'm still not compassionate enough.
  14. I have always felt loved by my family.
  15. I look half like my mom and half like my dad.
  16. I am starting to age, and I can identify the wrinkles. The ones on my forehead are from my father’s genes. The ones around my mouth are from my mother’s side.
  17. My middle brother is a Marine.
  18. My youngest brother is probably hacking into your computer right now.
  19. My father started a company the year I was born. He still owns and runs the company. It is my third sibling.
  20. I write business proposals, presentations and press releases for a marketing company.
  21. I work from home during naptimes, and any other free moment.
  22. It is hard to shift gears from mothering to writing. Occasionally, I find myself trying to rhyme in a press release, like a lullaby. Press releases should not lull the reader to sleep, no matter how much I want my son to take a nap.
  23. I graduated from college with high honors.
  24. I picked the University I attended solely because my best-friend was going there.
  25. I love yoga, but I don't do it as often as I should.

  37. I am agnostic.
  38. I do not know how I will answer my son when he asks about God.
  39. I do not believe in fate, destiny, or an all-controlling deity. If there is a God, then I believe he gave us free-will and will judge us for our actions later.

  84. I love bunnies.
  85. I'm 5' 5". I have brown hair and brown eyes. I'm a size 6.
